Descriptif / Historique
Based on the integration of former group AMP ( AMP, Simel, HTS, Madison Cable...) in Tyco's group, the Tyco/Electronics branch was created following the integration of RAYCHEM. This passive component division saw additional acquisitions like Elcon, Schrack, Augat, Agastat, Proner Comatel.
In France, the group is active since 1952 and changed its name to Tyco/Electronics France in 2000.
Following the split of Tyco group in 2007, Tyco/Electronics became independent and took later the actual name of TE Connectivity . Last integrations in the group , Compagie Deutsch and MEAS.
